EZ Foundation — Pile-Cap Anchor

The EZ Foundation. Done in a Day, Built for a Lifetime.

Our EZ Foundation is a precision-engineered steel pile-cap anchor that replaces traditional concrete footings entirely. No digging, no rebar, no pour, no curing. A two-person crew sets in minutes, without heavy equipment.

EZ Foundation pile-cap anchor — a steel column bolted to a cap plate with four steel piles driven down and outward.
How it works

A pile-cap anchor system.

Cross-section: a steel carport frame carried on two EZ Foundation anchors, each with four piles driven at opposing angles below grade.
The EZ Foundation in relationship to the structure — no concrete, no excavation.

Four structural steel piles drive down and outward through the cap at opposing angles. That incline geometry combines three forces into a single, solid footing — one that resists gravity, uplift, shear, and moment loads alike. Combined ground penetration runs roughly 16 feet, split to whatever depth combination your soil passes.

  • Skin friction — resistance built up along every driven pile.
  • End bearing — load carried at the tips, deep below grade.
  • Axial distribution — opposing piles lock the cap against uplift, shear, and moment.
Easy to install

Four steps. One day. No crew of ten.

All it takes is a two-person crew, a jackhammer, and hand tools — no excavator, no concrete truck, no crane. Most kits go from marked ground to finished foundation in a single day.

  1. 01

    Mark the layout

Snap a string line and mark each mount location with a tape measure and laser level — right after your 811 utility locate.

  2. 02

    Set the mounts

Drop each mount on its mark and level it with a torpedo level. A tap from a hammer is all the adjustment it needs.

  3. 03

    Drive the piles

A standard jackhammer with a pile-driving adapter sinks the four piles through the cap. No auger, no excavation, no spoil to haul off.

  4. 04

    Build on top

Bolt your column to the cap and raise the kit. Pro tip: assemble the frame onto the mounts first, then drive — near-zero measurement error.

Skip the pour

No Concrete. No Excavation.

Driving piles instead of pouring concrete skips the biggest cost and the longest wait on the jobsite.

  • No digging, no rebar cages, no concrete pour
  • Two-person crew — no heavy equipment or machinery
  • Nothing to cure: an immediate, rock-solid build
Built to outlast

Set it and Forget it.

Every EZ Foundation component is hot-dipped galvanized steel for long-life protection in all conditions.

  • Hot-dipped galvanized steel — corrosion-protected in any climate
  • Won't rot, warp, or shrink; impervious to termites
  • Non-combustible structural steel
  • Maintenance is a once-a-year visual inspection
The system

Four piles, one cap, zero concrete.

The Pile Cap

Precision steel plate with angled pile sockets — the anchor that ties the system together.

4 Structural Piles

Driven down and outward at opposing angles for multi-directional hold.

Tek Screws

Fasten the cap to the piles — the whole connection, no welding on site.

~16 ft In-Ground

Combined pile penetration; split to whatever depth combination your soil passes.

Engineered

Engineered for your site.

Design capacities are calculated with the working-stress method using refined geotechnical data for friction and bearing. The EZ Foundation is engineered as the footer for the Steel Shade Kits carport, gazebo, and pergola line — with site-specific engineering available where local conditions require it.

Safety: always call 811 to locate buried utilities before driving piles.
